Please Pray

We brought Ally home yesterday knowing that her bilirubin was a little high because Brenda's blood type and Ally's blood type are not compatible. The plan was to get a blood test today to see how she was doing, Ally seemed a bit lethargic and wasn't eating normally. The doctor wanted to jump on any issues that may arise because her numbers were higher today so we came to the ER at Virtua.
Ally has been admitted and now is receiving treatment.

Please pray that her numbers go down rapidly to a normal level.

9/1  12:30 AM

Ally started at 20.3 and is now at 15.5. Praise the Lord!
She needs to be at 9 or lower but she is making good progress. Our nurse, Terri Horvath is amazing and so understands Ally's every need. God is amazing.
Another test at 6 AM. Continue to pray the numbers continue to drop.

9/1  9:00 AM

Ally did well under the lights, is eating and peeing more- all good things. The blood test was delayed but she is now 13.9. Praise the Lord! She will stay under the lights until 2 PM and then have another blood test. If everything goes well we should be able to leave late tonight.
Thank you for your continuing prayers.

9/1  5:30 PM

Ally's numbers are now at 12.6.
She has been removed from the lights and her next blood test is at  6:30 PM.
If everything looks good we should be able to come home later in the evening.
Thank you for your prayers.

9/1  8:30 PM

Her numbers elevated to 15 so, unfortunately, she will go back into the lights and we will not be going home tonight.

9/2  12:00 PM

We found out this morning that Ally's number did go up slightly so she had to go under the lights again until noon. Around 5 PM she will have another blood test to see how she is doing, Everyone hopes we are going home tonight.

9/2 7:30 PM

We are finally going home!
Ally's color is good, her numbers are better and she is eating well.
Thank you to all of you for your prayers and encouragement.
The boys can't wait to see us and we can't wait to be home.
I  would imagine that I won't hold her a lot tomorrow since the boys will want to as much as possible.

We are so blessed!
